Our Team

Jessica Miller – Executive Director
Jess has always been passionate about leadership development and personal growth, a commitment rooted in her pride as a first-generation college graduate. Her enthusiasm for international education and social entrepreneurship blossomed through her experiences studying, living, and working abroad.
In 2007, Jess joined Terra Education and became a key leader in shaping its flagship program, Global Leadership Adventures (GLA). Over the years, she supported the expansion of GLA and other Terra programs worldwide, helping thousands of students have transformative, cross-cultural experiences.
Now, as the Executive Director of Terra Education Programs Abroad (TEPA), Jess brings that same energy and expertise to a new chapter—one focused specifically on school groups, as she has spent nearly two decades working with educators and supporting school groups. She’s committed to creating safe, inspiring, and academically enriching journeys for students around the world. Jess holds a degree in history, anthropology, and Spanish from Oregon State University, and lives in San Diego with her husband, two sons, and their leopard geckos, Luna and Sunny

Brett Scuiletti – Executive Director of Marketing
Brett describes his role as connecting people in digital spaces to transformative real-world experiences. A graduate of Elon University and a Journalism & Communications Fellow, he brings a storytelling mindset and global curiosity to every project he leads.
Since 2014, Brett has played a key role in shaping the marketing efforts for youth travel programs under the Terra Education umbrella. His introduction to the work began during a training session for global program staff, an experience that solidified his passion for international education and immersive learning.
Now serving as the Executive Director of Marketing for Terra Education Programs Abroad (TEPA), Brett helps schools, students, and families discover the life-changing potential of educational travel. So far, he’s made it to five continents—North and South America, Europe, Africa, and Asia—and he’s not stopping anytime soon.

Stacey Nguyen – Marketing Project Specialist
Like many, Stacey fell in love with travel while studying abroad in France during college. She earned her B.A. in the Social Sciences with an emphasis in International Economics and Anthropology from San Diego State University. Her career started early, and she carved out a path of her own. She began to cultivate her business experience right out of high school by managing her local martial arts school while training to become a World Champion in Tae Kwon Do. Her years building a thriving martial arts business helped her fall in love with marketing, which led to her obtaining her Master’s in Business Administration from the University of California, San Diego. Her MBA helped her build her marketing skills and tap into her creative side. Stacey loves working with Terra Education Programs Abroad (TEPA) because she believes that travel offers the perspective and experience essential to creating future leaders. When she’s not working at TEPA, her hobbies include immersing herself in different cultures and cuisines through her travels, training for her next black belt, or diving in the nearest ocean.

Mary Gannon – Director of Partnerships & Experience
Since joining Terra Education in 2016, Mary has worn many hats— she has paved her own path from her start as an intern in Costa Rica, to leading a team of admissions coordinators, then jumping over to program management as a Regional Director, and has continued her tenure as a strategic lead for new business segments. Her ability to connect the dots across departments and deliver thoughtful, student-centered experiences has made her a key force in shaping the evolution of our programs.
Now, as Director of Partnerships & Systems for Terra Education Programs Abroad (TEPA), Mary draws on a decade of cross-functional experience to build strong relationships with schools and become their number one champion in delivering custom educational travel experiences.
Mary holds a BA in Liberal Studies from Sonoma State University and an MS in Creative Practice Leadership from Northeastern University. Mary currently is based in Boston; however, you can often find her traveling to Europe and Latin America, especially during the Northeast Winter.

Brooke Loving Bagwell – Director of Partnerships & Engagement
Brooke began her journey with Terra Education in 2018 as an educator in the field, where she discovered her passion for experiential international education. She went on to serve as Regional Director for South America and the Caribbean, overseeing operations and building strong partnerships across the region.
Now, as Director of Partnerships & Engagement for Terra Education Programs Abroad (TEPA), Brooke brings her deep regional expertise and on-the-ground insight to help schools design meaningful travel programs that are both culturally rich and academically aligned.
She holds a BA in International Studies from American University and an MBA from IE University in Madrid. Brooke currently lives in Cusco, Peru, with her husband and their beloved German Shepherd, Ramón.
